About Me

My scientific taste

Why do I choose theoretical physics as my career? Basically it is because compared to those practical, but sometimes inelegant branches of science, I would rather trade some correctness for beauty. In fact, I cannot believe a formally perfect theory to be wrong at all. 'It seems to be one of the fundamental features of nature that fundamental physical laws are described in terms of a mathematical theory of great beauty and power', thus spoke Paul Dirac, and I am deeply convinced that he is right.

Things I Can Do

I am interested in strongly correlated systems and topological phases. I have been working on a variety of problems, including electron-phonon interacting systems and spin models.
